About Get Mobile

The number of people using the mobile web is growing at an astounding pace. Yet many websites are not built to work on mobile devices, creating frustration for users and hurting businesses.

At Google, we’re in the process of making our sites more mobile-friendly, and we know that it isn’t always a simple task. That’s why we created Get Mobile. Get Mobile is an initiative that aims to help businesses create mobile-friendly sites. We hope it provides a useful starting point where companies can see how their current site looks to mobile users, learn best practices and find resources.
